Entry Requirements

  • Applicants need to be aged 18 years or above and in employment. All students will be given an interview to assess their suitability for the programme of study. Applicants for whom English is not their first language evidence of language, competency may be required.

  • Module 3: Leadership and Values

    • Developing values guided leadership

    • Managing teams

    • Understanding self as a manager

    • Getting the best out of your team

  • Module 4: Leadership and Self-Reflection

    • How to be reflective of your own management skills to lead teams effectively and achieve business objectives

  • 10 face-to-face workshops

  • 40 weeks (part-time)

  • 60 credits

Graduates of this qualification may progress to:

  • New Zealand Diploma in Business [with strands in Accounting, Administration and Technology, Leadership and Management, and Project Management] [Level 5]

  • New Zealand Diploma in Business [with strands in Accounting, Administration and Technology, Leadership and Management, and Māori Business and Management] [Level 6]
