Community Programmes Co-ordinator
Waikato Institute for Leisure & Sport Studies (Wilss) is a unique organisation within the education landscape of New Zealand. Wilss is a charitable trust delivering quality education in leadership and volunteer development to meet the changing needs in the communities of Aotearoa New Zealand. We provide opportunities for communities to learn in an inclusive safe environment while meeting new people and making community connections.
The position is based in Hamilton (30 hours per week negotiable) and involves coordinating, networking and delivering our community programmes throughout the Greater Waikato region.
The role is autonomous and requires a person with the ability to manage multiple programmes, have great listening and communication skills, have loads of energy, be self-motivated and have excellent decision-making and problem solving skills. You would be part of a small team working to achieve the Wilss' vision of “Effective leaders and volunteers contributing to their community”.

We deliver part-time NZQA modules to Waikato coaches and administrators - we are looking to extend our great team of programme facilitators and are interested in hearing from you.
We are also looking for teachers who would be able to work during the week days on our school's programme. We are seeking teachers with NZ teaching qualifications who have an understanding of leadership, volunteering and are keen to make a difference with young people.
